Buckinghamshire Railway Centre
Buckinghamshire Railway Centre covers 25 acres and has one of the largest collections of steam locomotives and other railway vehicles in the UK. Visitor Centre with many interesting and historic exhibits, restaurant and gift shop. Outside exhibits, two museums, two restoration sheds where visitors can see on-going projects, picnic areas. 1 km-long Miniature Railway, crossings, loops, stations - even a tunnel and a Garden Railway.
Regular "Thomas the Tank Engine" weekends, vintage transport weekends, special days for children, their parents and grand-parents.

Visitor Centre Restaurant for hot & cold food, snacks and drinks. Hot/cold drinks machines when Centre is open on non-steaming days. Grassed picnic areas with sturdy picnic tables around site and in centre of Miniature Railway.

BRC souvenirs & postcards, "Thomas the Tank Engine" goods, railway videos and books, badges, children's books and toys.
Disabled toilet facilities in Visitor Centre, old station building and museum. Baby changing in disabled toilets (access for M/F) and in ladies' toilets.
Milk-warming hot water in a jug or we will warm food or milk in microwave for you.
The BRC is signposted off the A41 Aylesbury – Bicester Road at Waddesdon and off the A413 Buckingham – Aylesbury Road at Whitchurch. Junctions 7, 8 and 9 of the M40 are all close by and the M1, M4, M25 and M40 network makes the Centre easily accessible from London, the South East and the Midlands. Ample free parking for cars and coaches.
Free, adjacent car park. Excellent access over most of site for wheelchairs and push-chairs. Smooth paths for little legs. Plenty of picnic areas.
