In 2024 we will have been running heritage steam trains for 30 years
We are a friendly Heritage Steam Railway set in the foothills of the beautiful Chilterns Area of Natural Beauty. We run trains between Chinnor and Princes Risborough every Sunday and on other days during school holidays. We welcome children and have a large Pull n Push model railway to keep them entertained. We're currently running a special offer where Kids travel for a Quid (£1). Our website has more details: www.chinnorrailway.co.uk
Children's Pull n Push Model Railway at Chinnor Station
The area covers 96 square feet, and a lap of track is over 40 feet - with four panoramic areas to visit, it's quite a sizeable experience.
The trains run on blue plastic track with simple points and the children can pull or push different trains through various scenic locations, housing and industrial settings, etc.
There is a city, a town with a castle and harbour, and a village by the seaside, together with a slate quarry and mine.
A simple road allowing vehicles to be pushed around the perimeter is also offered.
Oh, and there is another large 'surprise' area that the trains can be pulled or pushed through too!
And it's all included in the ticket price!
